On the edge of the Frisian village of Gaastmeer lies the holiday park of Waterrecreatie Syperda. Here, various flat-bottomed boats, holiday homes, sailing boats and sloops are for rent.

Centrally located in the Frisian lake area; Gaastmeer is located between several lakes such as the Heegermeer, the Fluessen, the Grote Gaastmeer, but also near the IJsselmeer. This not only offers beautiful sailing, but is also a beautiful area with many cycling and walking routes along these lakes.

Gaastmeer is on the road between Oudega and Heeg, about a 15 minute drive from Sneek. For cars there is no driving trough Gaastmeer and You can only return on the same road. On the other side of the village there You will find a bicycle ferry, therefor Gaastmeer lies on the route of beautiful cycling and walking routes.
As soon as You enter Gaastmeer, the park is directly on Your right-hand side, with the center, the small supermarket and bus stop within walking distance.
